Thousandeyes

Only a handful of sources can give the true name of the orchestrator of the Goblin Wars. Fewer still can give any real indication of Kabaal’s history before he reshaped his identity to that of Thousandeyes.

Thousandeyes

An exiled noble of Ged, a famed architect and artificer, Kabaal was commissioned by the throne of Elden to construct a vast prison tower, the Panopticon. Leagues away from the civilized lands, Kabaal was left with his prisoners, wicked men and twisted monstrosities. Here he developed one of his greatest achievements, a crystalline Eye that could be implanted in the forehead, allowing Kabaal to see whatever his servants saw.

In the mind of Thousandeyes, knowledge is the ultimate power. He uses his knowledge of his enemies to destroy them, and those that his mind cannot penetrate, he destroys with his soul-shattering gaze. His ultimate goal is nothing short of omniscience, total and unapproachable knowledge of reality.

Thousandeyes was defeated near the moment of total domination. Confronted by the Chainkeeper, he used his most feared power, exposing his enemy’s soul and scattering it into nearby artifacts. However, the power partially reflected off of the goblin’s armor, scattering both the adversaries’ souls. The Wars wound down, and the centuries rolled by. Bit by bit, by sheer will, Thousandeyes began to return, using the shards of himself as focal points from which he could interact with the world.

One shard, the Belt of Thousandeyes, was destroyed by the Guardians of Stormbow, but at the cost of the Guardians being cast through time.
